PRODUCT OVERVIEW NAMEPLATES The marine gear nameplate (Figure 8) is attached to the marine gear. Check the marine gears model, gear ratio, oil used, oil quantity and serial number. The nameplates of Yanmar YM series engines are shown in Figure 7 . Check the engine’s model, output, min -1 and serial number on the nameplate.
