MAY 2003 7. Remove the two 6 x 12 mm flange bolts and two 8 x 35 mm flange bolts. Remove the rear cover bracket “A” and “B” together. REAR COVER BRACKET A Open the black plastic cable wire clamp and release the cover lock cable. It is not necessary to disconnect the cover lock cable. WIRE CLAMP 6 x 12 mm FLANGE BOLT (6) REAR COVER BRACKET B 8 x 35 mm FLANGE BOLT (2) 8 mm WASHER (2) 8. Remove the electric parts cover. ELECTRIC PARTS COVER PLASTIC KNOB Take care not to break the plastic knobs on the cover. PLASTIC KNOB 9. Disconnect the MAP sensor 3-pin connector, and remove the harness clip from the MAP sensor bracket. 10. Remove the 3.5 x 130 mm fuel tube from the intake manifold.
Be careful to not break the intake manifold nipple when removing the fuel tube.
