MAY 2003 5. Remove the throttle cables from the cable guides in the silencer case. SILENCER CASE It is not necessary to remove the throttle cables from the throttle body or throttle arm when removing the intake manifold for this procedure. THROTTLE CABLES THROTTLE CABLES CABLE GUIDES 6. Remove the two 6 x 25 mm flange bolts, two 6 x 60 mm flange bolts and four 6 mm washers. Be sure not to drop the washers. 7. While holding up on the throttle cables, pull the silencer case in the direction of the alternator to remove. CASE SILENCER CASE 8. Disconnect the IAC valve 2-pin connector and the TP sensor 3-pin connector at the throttle body.
