Step on the accelerator pedal. The machine stays stationary. 4. Slowly turn the speed regulator to the right to increase the speed to the desired maximum speed. The machine slowly starts moving and accelerates to the speed that matches the setting on the speed regulator. 5. Lock the speed regulator against being adjusted unintentio- nally, by moving the locking device (2) to the right until it stops.
