Fuel Filter Replacement 75-80 mm and 90-95 mm Clean the area around the fuel filter head, Remove the filters. Clean the gasket surface of the fuel filter head. Replace the o-ring. Fill the new fuel filter(s) with clean fuel and lubricate the o-ring seal with clean 15W-40 engine lubricating oil. Caution: To prevent fuel leaks, make sure the fuel filter is installed tightly but not over tightened. Mechanical tightening will damage the fuel filter.
