Total resistance determines the number of amps that can flow through the circuit. Ohm ’ s Law says that amps can be determined by dividing ohms into voltage. A circuit with 12 volts and 4 Ohms total resistance would have 3 amps of current flowing. Amps = Volts / Ohms Amps = 12v / 4Ω Amps = 3 Amps Technical Training 31
