KUHNKE Automation 6.4 Protective Earth Conductor The thermo-controller is designed for installation in a switching cabinet whose IP 20 housing provides sufficient protection against direct contact. Attach a protective earth conductor to provide for protection against indirect contact in case of a fault to frame. Connection is made to the 4 mm bolt on the top or on the bottom of the device. The connections are marked with the following symbol • 2.5mmІ Cu or 16mmІ Al if protection against mechanical damage is included, • 4mmІ Cu or 16mmІ Al if protection against mechanical damage is NOT included.
