Memory DIMM CAUTION: ESD sensitive component. NOTE: Depending on the model, a memory DIMM might not be installed. To increase the product memory, install a memory DIMM. See Install the memory DIMM on page 81 . Before proceeding, remove the following components: ● Formatter cover. See Formatter cover and formatter cage on page 71 . Remove the memory DIMM 1. Open the formatter cage door. 2. Push the DIMM-locking arms away from the DIMM to release it, and then pull the DIMM out of the DIMM slot.
