LX470 — OUTLINE OF NEW FEATURES 3 3. 2UZ-FE Engine The VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing-intelligent), ACIS (Acoustic Control Induction System), and AI (Air Injection) system are added to the 2UZ-FE engine to achieve high performance and reduce exhaust emissions. For details, see the major difference on page 11. 4. A750F Automatic Transmission Along with increase in power output of the 2UZ-FE engine, the numbers of the C 1 and C 2 clutch discs, and B 1 brake disc are changed. 5. Brake Along with the use of the CAN (Controller Area Network), the Translate ECU is used for communication with the ECM. Accordingly, the system diagram and the software of the skid control ECU are changed.

Along with adopting changes in the 2UZ-FE engine, red zone of the tachometer is increased by 400 rpm to be between 5600 to 7000 rpm compared to the previous starting point of 5200.
