STARTING AND DRIVING Resume CC from standby mode Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (if equipped) ACC is designed to assist you by keeping a set speed or a set time interval to the vehicle ahead. VESPER You can switch the driver support function to ACC through the left/ right selection key on the left keypad of the steering wheel. You can set your desired follow-up speed or follow-up time interval. When the system detects that the vehicle in front is travelling at a lower speed than the set speed, your vehicle's speed automatically adapts to keep a proper distance from that vehicle.
If there is no other vehicles with slower speed ahead your vehicle, the vehicle will automatically return to the set speed. ACC is designed to smoothly regulate speed according to driver intention and front traffic situation. However, due to limitations in the front radar, braking may occur unexpectedly or not at all. You are always responsible for applying the brakes in situations that require immediate braking. ■ CC cannot be enabled when the vehicle speed is lower than 30 km/h. ■ When the vehicle speed is higher than 30 km/h and lower than 150 km/h, press the acceleration key on the left keyboard of the steering wheel, and the vehicle will return to the previously set speed.
■ When the vehicle speed is higher than 30 km/h and lower than 150 km/h, press the setting key on the left keyboard of the steering wheel to set the initial cruise speed as the current vehicle speed. Caution! There may be a significant increase in speed after CC is re- enabled. 189
