Shift Motor A set of 4 Gray code switches which provide feedback to the TOD indicating the position of the Shift Motor. Position Encoder A switch on vehicles equipped with a manual transmission which indicates that the clutch pedal is depressed. Neutral Safety Switch A switch on vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission which indicates that the transmission is in neutral. Shift Inhibit Speed The vehicle speed above which Transfer Case shifts are disallowed.
