● The vehicle side wall suffers collision, but the side curtain airbag has not been deployed. ● The exterior trim panel of the side curtain airbag is cracked or damaged. 18 Side curtain airbag provides additional protection only in case of a severe side collision. It is not a substitute for the seat belt. It is forbidden for the driver and passenger to lean their heads or bodies on the door, put their arms on the door, or extend out of the window, otherwise it will cause injury when the side curtain airbag is deployed.
The side curtain airbag expands and contracts in a short period of time and can only works once, and does not provide protection from a second side collision that may occur later. Do not place anything on or near the steering wheel or airbag cover.
