19 When carrying out maintenance work under the cab, make sure the cab is fully tilted and locked to prevent it from falling back accidentally. If a cooler box/refrigerator has been fitted, it should be switched off and if necessary unplugged before tilting (depending on the type). The cooler box/refrigerator should remain switched off at least 30 minutes after the cab has been tilted back. Always use stands to support the chassis when carrying out work under a vehicle which is resting on a jack. Following a collision, only tilt the cab in an emergency situation . The tilting mechanism may be damaged.
