Electronic control fuel injection system (Common rail type) 1E-19 How to clear DTC Clear with ECM (intermittent trouble) The DTC stored in ECM will be cleared if the same one is not valid within 20 ignition cycles. Clear of DTC The DTC, which have been stored in the engine control module (ECM) upon trouble occurrence, will not be erased even if the faulty parts are repaired, unless it is compulsory cleared in the following procedure. Clear with a scan tool If a scan tool (Tech2 or scan tool with KW communication) has been connected, it can be cleared by clear operation of the scan tool (Tech2 or scan tool with KW communication).
If a scan tool with CAN communication has been connected, clear with the memory clear switch. Clear with memory clear switch 1. Turn the key switch to ON. 2. Turn the diagnosis switch to ON. 3. Turn the memory clear switch to ON. 4. Leave as it is ON for 3 seconds. 5. Turn the memory clear switch to OFF. 6. Turn the diagnosis switch to OFF. 7. Turn the key switch to OFF. 8. Leave as it is for 10 seconds. 9. Turn the key switch to ON. 10. Turn the diagnosis switch to ON. 11.
