Install: secondary sheave V-belt primary sheave NOTE: _ Tightening the bolts 1 will push the second- ary sliding sheave away, causing the gap between the secondary fixed and sliding sheaves to widen. Install the V-belt so that its arrow faces the direction shown in the illustration. 2. Tighten: primary sheave nut 1 secondary sheave nut 2 NOTE: _ Use the sheave holder 3 to hold the primary sheave. First, tighten the primary sheave nut 1 , then tighten the secondary sheave nut 2 .
