Precautions for parking brake Hydraulically-boosted brake system is used for this machine. If the engine is stopped, the required braking effort increases considerably. This in turn causes the braking distance to be extended and may lead to an accident. Never stop the engine while traveling. 1-35 To prevent SEVERE INJURY or DEATH, do the following before moving machine or its attachments: • Honk horn to alert people nearby. • Be sure no one is on or near machine. • Use spotter if view is obstructed.
