COMPONENTS EGR Gas Delivery Pipe/Mixer The delivery pipe provides the path for the EGR gases to flow from the EGR cooler to the intake manifold. Mixer Figure 2-14 EGR Mixer The mixer completes the EGR circuit. See Figure 2-14. The mixer mixes exhaust gas into the fresh air supply flowing from the charge-air-cooler. Once the air has past the mixer, the intake manifold defuses EGR gas evenly to each cylinder.
