Block the starting device when working on the engine. If the engine starts unexpectedly, there is a serious risk of injury. Note: Checking and adjusting valve clearances should also be done one more time after the first 500 hours of operation. Then the normal interval will follow (every 2,000 hours). Check and adjust the valve clearance with the en- gine cold. Max. clearance between two valves under the same valve bridge is 0.2 mm.
