However, operating machine under f ull loa d before breaking the machin e in can adversely affect the performance and shorten the machine l ife. Be sure t o break in the machine for the i nitial 100 h ours (as indicated on the service m eter) Make su re that you f ully understand t he c onten t of t his manual, and pay carefu l attention t o the following point s when breaking in the machine. Run t he engine at idle for 15 seconds after starting it. During t his time, do not operate the control l evers or fuel contro l dial.
