SAFETY AVOID ACCIDENTS FROM BACKING UP AND TURNING Make sure no one is working under or close to the machine before backing up or turning the machine to avoid personal injury and/or death by being run over or entangled in the machine. Keep all personnel away from the machine by sounding the horn and/or using hand signals. Use extra care to be sure no one is in from the articu- lation area before turning the machine. Keep windows, mirrors, and lights in good condi- tion. Reduce travel speed when dust, heavy rain, fog, etc., reduce the visibility.
