D 2008/2009 Cylinder head W 01-04-09 z Insert dial gauge into measuring beam. z Place shims (1) and measuring beam (2) on the seal- ing surface of the crankcase. 1 z Apply the stylus to the piston base (arrow) under pre- tension. z Continue turning the crankshaft evenly until the re- versal point of the pointer on the dial gauge is reached.
