General Information ATV-Identification numbers The Engine Serial Number is lo- cated at the left-side of the recoil starter (500/650 H1). Always provide the ATV name, Ve- hicle Identifi cation Number and En- gine Serial Number when contacting an authorized Arctic Cat ATV dealer for parts, service, accessories or warranty. If a complete engine must be replaced, ask the dealer to notify Arctic Cat for correct registration information. The Arctic Cat ATV hat two identifi - cation numbers: Vehicle identifi cati- on Number (VIN) and Engine Serial Number (ESN). The Vehicle Identifi cation Number is located on the frame support rail beneath the rear right-side fender.
With model 400, the engine number is located at the left upper side. With model 700 Diesel, the engine number is located on the back of the engine block between engine and transmission. Page 22
