Filling Gas Tank Allow the engine to cool before fi lling the gas tank. Care must be taken not to overfi ll the tank. If overfi lled, gas may leak onto the engine creating a fi re hazard. !! WARNING !! Always fi ll the gas tank in a well- ventilated area. Never add gasoline to the ATV gas tank near any open fl ames or with the engine running or hot. DO NOT SMOKE while fi l- ling the gas tank. Tighten the gas tank cap securely after fi ling the tank. Since gasoline expands as its tem- perature increases, the gas tank must be fi lled to its rated capacity only. !! WARNING !! Do not overfi ll the gas tank. Page 33
