8. Install the engine drain plug and tighten it securely. Pour the re- commended oil into the fi lter hole. Install fi lter plug. 9. Start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes. 10. Turn the engine off and wait approximately one minute. Re- check the oil level. 11. Inspect the area around the drain plug and oil fi lter for leaks. Front Differential Lubricant (Model 4x4) !! CAUTION !! Inspect the oil for any signs of me- tal fi lings or water. If found, take the ATV to an authorized Arctic Cat ATV dealer for servicing. Inspect and change the gear lub- ricant at the scheduled intervals. When changing the lubricant, use approved SAE 80 W-90 hypoid oil and use the following procedure: 1.
Pour recommended oil into the fi ller hole (up to 2cm below the brim). 2. Install the fi ller plug. 1. Place the ATV on level ground. 2. Remove the oil fi ller plug. 3. Drain the oil into a drain pan af- ter having removed the drain plug. 4. After all the oil has been drai- ned, install the drain plug and tigh- ten securely. Page 38
