GENERAL / Tightening O-ring Seal Joint O-ring (6) is installed against the end face of adapter (7) and seals pressure oil. IMPORTANT: 1. Replace O-ring (6) with a new one when reinstalling. 2. Before tightening union nut (9), confirm that O-ring (6) is seated correctly in O-ring groove (8). Tightening union nut (9) with O-ring (6) displaced will damage O-ring (6), resulting in oil leakage. 3. Do not damage O-ring groove (8) or sealing surface (10) in adapter (7). Damage to O-ring (6) may cause oil leakage. 4. If union nut (9) is found to be loose, causing oil leakage, do not tighten it to stop the leak.
