Argo Service Manual Electrical System 1. Clip the new bulb assembly into the wire harness. 2. Reaching in through the engine access area, align the bulb assembly with the headlamp housing. Push in and turn 1/4 turn clockwise. Removing the Headlamp Lens Assembly NOTE Avenger models manufactured prior to serial number 28909 utilize a rubber bezel to secure the lense assembly into the upper body headlamp location. Avenger models manufactured from 28909 utilize a plastic bezel and four screws which secure the lense assembly at the headlamp location. Models Prior to Serial Number 28922 (Rubber Bezel) i.
From the front of the vehicle, place your hand over the lense and push inwards (at the outside edge) to pop the lense towards the inside of the vehicle. ii. Pull the headlamp lens out through the front. Grasp the headlamp bulb fitting and turn 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to remove from the lens assembly. iii. Peel the rubber bezel off the lens. Models From Serial Number 28922 (Plastic Bezel) i. Remove the (4) Screws securing the plastic bezel to the headlamp location. Photos 4 & 5 NOTE Vehicles manufactured from serial number 30030 have a #10 Speed Nut installed to the screw to the inside. Photo 6. Ensure it does not fall into the vehicle when removing screws.
