CS55 NAMEPLATE AND VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) Vehicle Identification Number OBD interface supports most general automobile diagnostic scanners available in the market. The scanner used by dealer authorized by Changan Automobile is Bosch KT710. CAUTION ● OBD diagnostic interface of Changan vehicles supports either CAN communication or K-line communication. Please try a general diagnostic canner supporting CAN communication first. If it does not communicate with EMS, try another one supporting K-line communication; ● If both scanners fail to establish communication with EMS, or fail to read out VIN, please contact a dealer authorized by Changan Automobile.
Nameplate The nameplate is set below right rear door frame lock catch, stating information like vehicle identification number and maximum authorized total mass. Connect a general diagnostic scanner to the OBD diagnostic interface at the left lower part of the console; 2. Select current vehicle model in the interface of diagnostic scanner, and enter engine EMS system; 3. Choose “Read Version Information” option in EMS interface to check VIN.
Microwave window is on the right upper part of the front windshield. It shall not be covered by the supports of rain sensor or lane departure sensor. - 11 -
