INTERIOR COMPONENT Air volume adjust knob/OFF button Rear windshield defrost button VESPER Click the rear windshield defrost button to activate the rear windshield defroster. The indicator on the button will be illuminated. It starts to defrost the rear windshield and the outside rearview mirrors. Blow mode button Click the blow mode button to switch among 7 modes: blowing to face, defrosting/blowing to face, blowing to face/blowing to foot/ defrosting, blowing to foot/blowing to face, blowing to foot, blowing to foot/defrosting and defrosting. Recirculation button You can adjust the air volume by turning the knob. The air volume can be adjusted by 8 levels (1 to 8).

The central display shows the adjusted air volume at the same time. You can switch between internal and external circulation of air by clicking the recirculation button. When the vehicle is in internal circulation, the recirculation indicator is on, and air circulates inside the vehicle. This helps to quickly cool the air in the car or prevent outside air and peculiar smell from entering the car. When the climate system is in the auto mode, you can control the air volume through the central display, which can be divided into three modes: mute, comfort, and strong. Normal air volume is provided with the comfort mode. When the mute mode is set, the air volume is reduced to reduce noise.

When set to the strong mode, the air volume increases generally to adjust to the temperature you set more quickly. Warning! Do not use the internal circulation for a long time as it may lead to fogging of the windows as well as a decrease in the oxygen concentration and a rise in the carbon dioxide concentration in the vehicle. Caution! Activate internal circulation when: ■ Driving on a dusty road. ■ To prevent odors from entering the passenger compartment. ■ For better cooling when using the climate system. You can turn off the climate system by pressing the OFF button. 142
