SAFETY Front airbags do not normally deploy in a side impact collision, in a collision from the rear or in a rollover situation. , Front double airbags VESPER The airbag may not deploy if the collision force does not reach the triggering condition of the airbag sensor. It can be collision situations like moving into a nonrigid object (such as snow drift or bush), rushing to a rigid, fixed object at a low speed, and collision of two moving vehicles with low relative speed. In collision with a container truck or the lower part of a large vehicle, where the force does not reach an airbag sensor. The airbag will not deploy if:
■ If the collision point is on a specific location (such as a tree or a pole) and the collision force is not large enough. ■ the airbag system may fail. If the front airbag is triggered, the deployed airbag can reduce or avoid the risk of head and chest injury of the personnel in the front. Note! Do not install or place any accessories (such as drink holders, cassette holders or stickers,) on the steering wheel or on the instrument panel where the airbag is located. Such objects could result in personal injury if the airbag deploys. Warning! The degree of damage to the body structure does not necessarily determine whether the safety system is triggered or not. 27
