Lynk & Co — Hybrid system overview

HYBRID Note! Note! When high voltage battery save function is activated and the current power cannot be maintained, the engine will be started to continue to charge the high voltage battery and maintain the current power of the high voltage battery. Activating the high voltage battery save function may increase fuel consumption. VESPER When the high voltage battery is being charged, charging is also in progress for the vehicle's 12 V battery. Charging time The battery charging time depends on different factors, such as outside temperature, battery age or charging current.

However, a typical charging time from low to full in the case of a charging pile is approximately 2 h, and in the case of on-board charging equipment, the charging time from low to full is about 7 h. In the instrument cluster, you can see the charging status. High voltage battery charging You can charge the high voltage battery by 220 V AC socket, regenerative braking system, coasting energy recovery system and engine. ■ Use the charging cable to connect the vehicle to a 220V AC socket , please refer to the On-board charging equipment(p. 47) .

■ Depress the brake pedal gently during driving, and the regenerative braking system will charge the high voltage battery (motor - > battery); release the accelerator pedal and do not depress the brake pedal during driving, and the coasting energy recovery system will charge the high voltage battery (motor - > battery) , please refer to the Energy flow of the hybrid system(p. 82) . ■ The high voltage battery can be charged by the engine (Engine -> Battery). Charging with the engine If the high voltage battery is used frequently, it may reach a point where the engine is activated to charge the high voltage battery. This is done automatically.

The engine will charge the high voltage battery until it has reached a point where the battery has reestablished its working level. When the vehicle in P or N gear is being charged by the engine, do not depress the accelerator pedal to increase the charging speed. Such an operation cannot make the engine speed and power change. Caution! Warning! Never connect the charging cable when there is a risk of thunderstorm or lightning strike. Charging with a charging pile/fixed control unit In some markets, the control unit is installed within a charging station. In this case, the charging cable has no control unit of its 44
