8 Keys, Doors, and Windows Automatic Vehicle Unlock and Lock Please be aware that the automatic locking feature may fail due to signal interference with the remote key . Front Left Door Mechanical Lock This vehicle can automatically unlock when the key is within approximately 1.3 meters of the vehicle. For some models, the door handle will automatically open as well; if not, it must be manually pressed to open the handle. When the key moves away for approximately 2.3 meters from the vehicle, it can automatically turn off the vehicle, activate the door locks, close the windows, and retract the door handles.
If any doors are not closed when you move away from the vehicle, the automatic locking will fail to function as you distance yourself from the vehicle. Please be aware of this to avoid losing valuable items left in the vehicle. WARNING This feature can be set through the options on the head unit, specifically under Vehicle Control > Doors and Windows > Keyless Entry.
