Troubleshooting Lighting and Flashing ERROR LED Recover from the error as follows when the ERROR LED is on or flashing. (For LED lighting/flashing patterns, see "Status/Error Indications" on page 21 .) Make sure that the roll paper cover or the ink cartridge cover is closed. Close the cover if it is open. When the INK LED is on, replace the ink cartridge with a new one. When the PAPER OUT LED is on, check whether the roll paper is out. If it is out, replace it with a new one. When the PAPER OUT LED is flashing, check for a paper jam. If paper is jammed, remove the jammed paper referring to "Removing Jammed Paper" on page 65 , and install the roll paper correctly.
Turn off the printer and then turn it back on. If the ERROR LED is still flashing, call your super- visor or a service person. 102
