Otherwise , the prot ect ion from saf ety belt will be decreased in cas e of acc ident , and injury will be cau sed in a crash . If the waist belt is loosely mounted at a higher posi tion , seri ous injury will be caused because the belt will slide downwards in a crash or other accident s . Keep the waist belt under hip as best as you can .

Retract the too-long portion of safety belt and adjust the belt. A “ click ” will be heard when the belt head is plugged into the buckle . Pull the unfastened terminal of safety belt when shortening the belt. Retractor will pull the safety belt backwards immediately when air bag sensor detects a collis ion or crash . In this case , the saf ety belt can tightly tether the front passenger . Keep the waist bel t under hip as best as you can , and it can not be tied at your waist . Then adj ust the saf ety bel t to a proper posi tion . If the safety belt is not long enough, keep a right angle between the belt head and safety belt. Then pull the belt head .
● Repair the safety belt at servi ce station at once if its function is abnormal . Do not use this seat until its safety belt has been rep aired .
