Engine Auto-Start/Stop System Troubleshooting Check the following safety interlocks if the Auto-Start System will not enable; 1. Verify that the ignition switch is not in the "ON" position. This message will be displayed when the safety interlocks are not satisfied after the system has been enabled. Make sure all interlocks are satisfied. "XXXX" will indicate the specific interlock which was not satisfied. "XXXX" message will be displayed if any air-powered accessory switch is operated while the Auto-Start system is enabled. 2.
