MAY 2003 9. Disconnect the IAT sensor 2-pin connector at the throttle body. 10. Remove the four 8 x 65 mm flange bolts and remove the throttle body, gasket and throttle body spacer as one unit. Take care not to drop the bolts during removal. Lay the throttle body to the front of the motor and protect it with shop towels to prevent damage. The throttle body spacer may stay attached to the throttle body. Check that the intake manifold O-ring stays in the intake manifold groove. IAT SENSOR 2-PIN CONNECTOR O-RING 11. Inspect the taped area where the joint connector harness merges with the main harness.
If any of the tape is rubbed or broken where any of the wires are visible, proceed to Main Engine Harness Replacement (page 6).
