Shut down the engine and open hydraulic tank filler caps slowly to relieve any internal pressure. 2. Clean dirt accumulation from area of breather (3, Figure 4-2). 3. Remove the breather from the tank. 4. Remove snap ring (1, Figure 4-4), cover (2) and filter element (3). 5. Clean breather element in solvent and blow dry.
