DETAILED CONTROLS AND GAUGES OPERATION Charge Level Monitor This monitor (1) flashes if the battery is not being properly charged when the engine is running. If it flashes, check the V-belt for looseness. If any abnormality is found, take the action given in “OTHER TROUBLE (3-129)“. REMARK When the starting switch is at ON, the lamp stays lighted up. After the engine starts, it goes out. When the starting switch is ON, and the engine is started or stopped, the lamp may light up momentarily and the buzzer may sound, but this does not indicate any abnormality. Fuel Level Monitor This monitor (2) warns against the reduced fuel level in the fuel tank.
When the remaining oil level drops to approx. 46 liters, this monitor flashes, so add fuel as soon as possible. Air Cleaner Clogging Monitor This monitor (3) warns that the air cleaner is clogged. If the monitor lamp flashes, stop the engine, then inspect and clean the air cleaner. 3-8
