OPERATION 12.13 PARKING THE MACHINE WARNING Avoid stopping suddenly. Allow ample room when stopping. Do not park the machine on slopes. If the machine must be parked on a slope, position the machine facing directly down the slope, and dig the bucket into the ground. Finally, position the blocks under the tires to prevent the machine from moving. NOTE Never use the parking brake switch to brake the machine when traveling except in an emergency. Apply the parking brake only after the machine has stopped. 1. Release the accelerator pedal (1) and depress the brake pedal (2) to stop the machine. 2. Place the directional lever (3) in neutral. 3.
