Safety Warning! ■ Do not place or hang items on the roof lining, door pillars, or side panels. Doing so could result in death or serious injury to the car's occupants after airbag deployment. The hooks are designed to accommodate light coats or similar clothing. ■ Always leave 10 cm between the luggage or other loads and each of the windows. Objects placed closer to the windows could interfere with the function of the inflatable curtain, which could result in death or serious injury.
Inflatable curtains are designed to prevent the car's occupants sitting in the outboard seats from striking their head on the inside of the car during a collision. The inflatable curtains are located along both sides of the roof lining. Their locations are indicated by the AIRBAG marking on the trim panels. 17
