On models with the Discharge Headlights, an automatic headlight beam level control system has been adopted to maintain the headlight beams automatically at a constant level. A leveling indicator light to inform the driver if a malfunction is detected in the automatic headlight beam level control system has been provided in the combination meter. 7. Combination Meter An indicator that indicates the direction of the fuel lid has been provided in the combination meter.

Air Conditioning Control to flash the A/C indicator on the heater control panel if a malfunction has been detected in the operation of the compressor has been continuing to adopt since the previous models. Seat Heater The seat heater operation has been changed to the two-stage, HI-LO type. 11. SRS Airbag The inflator for the driver has been changed to a more compact and lightweight type. 12. EC Mirror System An EC (electrochromic) mirror system, which automatically reduces the bright glare of the headlights of the vehicles driven behind, has been adopted in the inner mirror and the driver’s side outside rearview mirror. 13.
Memory System An outside mirror position memory function, which memorizes and returns the mirror position in conjunction with the memory and return functions of the seat position, has been newly added.
