Keep the following in mind before using engine remote start: ■ The vehicle should be in view. ■ The vehicle should be unoccupied. ■ It is strictly forbidden to start vehicles remotely in poorly ventilated areas such as indoor or garage. VESPER You can also choose to shut down the engine in Lynk & Co app after starting the vehicle remotely. When the engine is shut down, the corresponding information can be viewed in Lynk & Co app. Emergency vehicle start The engine remote start function may not be available if one of the following occurs:
If the key battery is low and cannot be detected, the message pops up in the instrument cluster to remind you no key detected. Follow the following steps to start the vehicle: ■ The gear lever is not in the P position. ■ The coolant level is low. ■ The fuel level is low. ■ The hood/door is unlocked. ■ There is an engine failure (such as a critical engine fault code is displayed). ■ The vehicle is set to workshop mode. ■ The start time limit has been reached. 1 Put the remote key at the bottom sensing area of the armrest box. Remote start the engine via Lynk & Co app When the vehicle is locked and the gear lever is in P position: please log in Lynk & Co app and choose to start the engine.
