STARTING AND DRIVING ■ Lane change assist system cannot detect vehicles going very fast or very slow. ■ The lane change assist system cannot detect a stationary target. ■ The lane change assist system cannot detect targets such as bicycles or pedestrians. ■ The lane change assist system cannot function in sharp bends or in open areas. Warning! VESPER ■ No automatic system can be guaranteed to function 100% correctly in all situations. For that reason, never test FCW/AEB by driving toward a person or object. Otherwise, accidents may be caused, resulting in personal injury or death. ■ FCW/AEB is a supplementary aid and cannot deal with all situations or road conditions.
You are always responsible for driving safely and complying with current laws and traffic regulations. ■ Due to the limitations of front radar, FCW/AEB may be falsely triggered. You must always pay close attention to the surrounding environment. If there is a problem with the rear radar, the lane change assist system may fail to work properly , please refer to the Drive assistance system sensors(if equipped)(p. 175) . If the instrument cluster indicates a failure of the BSD or other similar information, contact a Lynk & Co Center immediately. Caution!
It is recommended that trained and qualified Lynk & Co maintenance technicians repair the lane change auxiliary system, otherwise it may cause the lane change auxiliary system to fail to operate normally. You can activate/deactivate the autonomous emergency braking via the vehicle setting interface on the center display. Each time the vehicle is started, the function is automatically enabled. Settings of auto emergency braking Only when the automatic emergency braking is enabled, the front collision warning can be turned on/off. Auto emergency braking (if equipped) The auto emergency braking system consists of two subsystems:
After the front collision warning is turned on, the alarm sensitivity can be set to be LOW, MID or HIGH. ■ Forward Collision Warning (FCW) ■ Auto emergency braking (AEB) 205
