Within a few minutes after the vehicle is shut down, if it is detected that a target is close to the rear side of the vehicle and there is a potential risk of impact with an opened door, DOW will give an alarm to remind the driver of the danger. When the detected target is in the warning range, the door is unlocked and there is a potential risk of impact, DOW will alert you in the following ways: ■ Door not opened: the warning symbol on the outside rearview mirror staying on. ■ Door opened: the warning symbol on the outside rearview mirror flashing with an audible warning. 218
