HYBRID When charging, the instrument cluster displays the remaining estimated charging time and the LED indicator in the charging input socket flashes with a green glow. High voltage battery charging will be temporarily interrupted if the vehicle is unlocked and the door is opened. Warning! VESPER ■ The high voltage battery must only be charged at maximum permitted charging current or lower in accordance with applicable local and national recommendations for hybrid charging from 220 V AC sockets/ plugs. ■ Charging the high voltage battery must only take place from an approved grounded 220 V AC socket with a loose charging cable supplied by Lynk & Co or from a charging pole.
■ Before charging, check whether the charging equipment, especially the power socket and charging gun are in good condition. Avoid using visible worn or damaged power sockets since they may lead to fire damage or personal injury. ■ The use of extension cables/mobile sockets is prohibited, as this may cause charge line failure to charge, and the use of non-conforming extension cables/mobile sockets may also result in fire damage or personal injury. ■ Make sure the charging cable or the plug is not exposed to direct sunlight. If so, the overheating protection in the control unit or the plug is at risk of reducing or interrupting the charging.
■ The use of charging cables in dark, damp venues is strictly prohibited, as this may result in personal injury. ■ Check that the electrical socket has enough current capacity for charging the vehicle. ■ When the charging system is working, please choose a dry and ventilated charging environment and do not use the charging device in an environment where flammable and explosive items are stored, as this may result in fire damage or personal injury. 49
