– Switch on the ignition. The glass roof is a roof opening system featuring two glass elements. The rear glass element is fixed in place and cannot be opened. – Close allwindows and doors. – Pull up the button on the corresponding win- dow and hold it there for a few seconds. The button has two positions. First position: Fully or partially tilt, open or close the roof. Sec- ond position: Automatically move the roof to the respective limit position. Press the button again to stop the automatic operation. – Release the button, then pull the button up again and hold it in the pull-up position. At this point, the single touch open and close function is restored.
Opening and closing the glass roof You can use the method described above to re- store the single touch function of a window or several windows at the same time. – Tilting the glass roof: Push button → Fig. 52 B to the first position. Automatic operation: push button B to the second position. Close the windows without Roll-back function – Try to close the window again by holding the button for a few seconds. At this time, the system for a small section of window glass path to close the roll-back function! – Closing the tilted glass roof: Push button A to the first position. Automatic operation: push button A to the second position. – Opening the glass roof:
Push button C to the first position. Automatic operation to a con- venience position: push button C to the sec- ond position. – If the closing process lasts more than a few seconds, the roll-back function reactivates. If the window rises again or is blocked at anoth- er place, the window will stop closing again and automatically reopen. – Closing the tilted glass roof: Push button D to the first position. Automatic operation: Push button D to the second position. – If the windows still cannot be closed, the sys- tem should be repaired at the qualified work- shop as soon as possible. – To terminate the autorun on or off proc- ess: Press the button C or D again.
WARNING Careless or unsupervised use of the glass roof can cause serious or fatal injuries. Electric panoramic sliding/ tilting roof ● Open or close the glass roof only when there is no-one in the operating path of the roof. ● Always take all vehicle keys with you when you leave the vehicle. Opening and closing the glass roof ● Never leave children or people in need of as- sistance alone in a vehicle, especially do not allow them access to the vehicle keys. Mis- handling a vehicle key can lock the vehicle, start the engine, switch on the ignition and control the sunroof.
● Please note that the glass roof can still be opened or closed for a short time after the ignition has been switched off, provided that the driver door or front passenger door is not opened.
