The sun blind can be operated several minutes after the ignition has been switched off, provided that the driver door and front passenger door are not opened. Closing the sun blind without the roll-back function – Within approximately 5 seconds of the roll- back function being triggered, press and hold the button → Fig. 76 2 until the sun blind has closed completely. The vehicle may be equipped with the following air conditioning units: Climatic Or Climatronic heats, cools, and dehu- midifies the air. The air conditioning system will work most effectively if the vehicle interior is kept closed. Opening the windows and glass roof to provide fresh air may accelerate cooling down the vehicle if high temperatures have built up in the vehicle interior. – The sun blind will now close without the roll- back function!

Display of active functions Lit up LEDs on the air conditioning block indicate that the function is switched on. WARNING Dust and pollen filters Dust and pollen filters reduce pollutants brought into the vehicle by the outside air. Closing the sun blind without the roll-back function can cause serious injuries. ● Always take care when closing the sun blind! Dust and pollen filters must be replaced accord- ing to the time interval specified in Maintenance Manual to avoid affecting the efficiency of air conditioning.
● When closing the sunshade rolling curtain, ensure that no one is within the working range of the skylight, especially when the anti-clip function does not work. Ensure that nobody obstructs the path of the sun blind, especially if the roll-back function is not ac- tive when it is closed. When the vehicle is used in an environment with high air pollution, the performance of the dust and pollen filters will be affected. Replace the dust and pollen filters more frequently, if neces- sary, within the prescribed maintenance inter- vals. ● The roll-back function cannot protect fingers or other parts of the body from being clipped at the frame of glass roof.
When the glass roof is open, the electric sun blind can be closed only up to the front edge of the glass roof. Make sure all windows have a clear view to pre- vent collisions and accidents. WARNING Owner's manual 84
