The blower gear of the regulator is not displayed in the automatic mode. – Air recirculation mode - Combined temperature regulation on the driver side and front passenger side – Press the button in the air conditioning block When air recirculation mode is switched on, no fresh air enters the vehicle interior. → page 88 – Press the button . , the temperature set on the driver side al- so applies to the front passenger side. Air distribution – By repeatedly pressing the button , the air flow can be separately guided to the front windscreen, upper body and foot of the pas- senger, or to the two areas at the same time.
– Automatic mode The set air temperature is kept constant. The temperature, blower speed, and air distribution are controlled automatically. Automatic mode switches off when the blower speed is adjusted manually. Symbols on the screen above the block can be displayed in different ways depending on the air distribution area. – Cooling mode – Press the button on the air conditioner block to switch on or off the cooling mode. - Defrost function The defrost function clears the windscreen of ice, snow and condensation. – Press the button → Fig. 78 . The air is cooled and dehumidified in cooling mode. / -- Temperature regulation – Press temperature button → Fig.
