Handbook 652 Body Electrical Diagnosis Power Source (Current Flow Chart) The Power Source (Current Flow Chart) includes: • Chart of current flow from the battery through all the fuses and relays to the system circuit fuses. • A list of all fuses and every circuit controlled by each fuse. • A cross reference to the fuse location in the Relay Locations section. The Power Source (Current Flow Chart) is useful for: • Diagnosing a fuse that is not receiving power. • Identifying circuits sharing the same fuse. • Identifying a relay or fusible link that may be the common source of problems in multiple circuits.
HINT When diagnosing an electrical problem, Step 2 of the 6-Step Diagnostic Process (Determine Related Symptoms) recommends that you operate circuits that share the same fuse to determine if the problem is in the connection to power. Use the Power Source (Current Flow Chart) for identifying circuits sharing the same fuse. NOTE The format of the Power Source (Current Flow Chart) is different for vehicles earlier than the 1999 model year. 88 Technical Training
