A Message Description ETH2: ASYNC: STATUS: NOTE: This display will not appear when appliance is configured as a Standalone Fleet Manager. Autosync mode and status when an EM2100 appliance is operating as a Primary Fleet Manager or Secondary Fleet Manager. The mode will be displayed as PRIMARY or SECONDARY. The status will be displayed as STARTUP, ACTIVE, OR FAILED. See Autosync Status on page 14 for more inform- ation. UP: Time elapsed since the last reboot. tosync Status The autosync status messages are described below. l STARTUP—Autosync is configured, but the two appliances have not yet com- municated successfully.
l ACTIVE—The Primary Fleet Manager and Secondary Fleet Manager appliances are communicating. l FAILED—The Primary Fleet Manager and Secondary Fleet Manager appliances were previously communicating, but the connection is lost. The Primary Fleet Manager auto- matically attempts to re-establish communication with the Secondary Fleet Manager in this state.
