FUEL-WATER SEPARATOR Shut off the engine. Open the drain valve (1). Turn the valve counterclockwise approximately 1 l/2- to 2 turns until draining occurs. Drain the filter sump of water until clear fuel is visible * Do not overtighten the valve. Overtightening can damage the threads. * Turn the valve clockwise approximately 1 l/2- to 2 turns to close the drain valve.
